What is the story with Australians and totally crap uniforms for their sports people? I feel so sorry for the athletes being forced to wear two colours that are possibly the worst eye sore known to man, especially when us kiwis look so legend in our black,white and silver gear.
Anyway thankfully the Olympics are almost over but unfortunately despite my best efforts I’ve managed to watch mostly crap events that are dull and uninteresting like the running, walking and sadly eyes rolled into the back of my head Equestrian. I don’t know what it is about my TV watching times (which admittedly are very limited) but for some reason the events I want to see like gymnastics and weight lifting are only ever on the smallest of highlights.
Anyway this geekday (Saturday) I’m going to focus mostly on this blog for fun. I realised on Sunday that I’m yet to put in all the old comments, goals, and about us page. Given this will also give me a chance to have a play with php it should be worth a go as I could do with some more skills in that area. So watch this space this geekday for some exciting (and by exciting I mean stuff that isn’t here that should be) additions to the site.
