Well yesterday morning I awoke to a crashed pc (while this might not seem odd to most, I very rarely have my pc hang or crash to that extent) so naturally I hit reset and it proceeded to restart. Unfortunately for me the story gets much worse. Absolutely nothing displays on the screen at all, no cpu or hard drive activity seems to take place and after about 60 seconds from pressing the power button I get one long beep followed by three fast beeps. After consulting the manual (a sign of desperation) it tells me the beeps mean my video card has died a horrible death and needs to be replaced!
So I’ve swapped out Annaish video card for the time being so I can actually get into my PC, but it really is total balls. The sad part of the story is that for Christmas I was offered a new graphics card by my Mum but felt bad for my goldfish and decided to go with a new tank for them instead. Also recently we had to replace the tires on Annaishs car (I call it hers whenever it cost money) so I’ll have to wait a month or so until I can afford a new one… unless of course a miracle happens and I win lotto. In which case I’ll be living in iMac G5 land and would probably set fire to my PC… or run it over with $500 worth of new tires!
