These past few days have been a turning point in my gaming life as they are my last with my old friend XBox. In order to afford a new XBox 360 certain sacrifices had to be made, and sadly my original console (purchased way back when XBox was first released in NZ) was one of them.
While I’m finding it hard to let go of my trusty gaming companion, and it’s ten long days until I’ll be able to play on my new 360, Sunday was the day of the trade in at EB games. I got 15% extra for my console (some random special they had) but I’m starting to wonder if it was worth it. Just to give you some idea of how long I’ve been an XBox gamer the chick at EB said “boy you’ve had that a while” when she saw the original packing material design (yes I keep everything.) All I know is, no Halo gaming or XBox Live for 10 days is going to make my nice shinny new XBox 360 feel that much better.
I guess the question now is, will I last the next 10ish days until 360?.. Roll on March 23rd!
