Over the last few weeks I’ve noticed that my Internet connection has been increasingly slow. At first I just thought I was imagining it but last night and this morning it was so bad I had to investigate. As it turns out, I’m not the only one who has this issue, in fact it would appear that it’s causing mayhem with ISP all over the world. here’s what I found:
“Due to Cogent and Level 3 de-peering, large sections of the Internet have become very slow or unreachable. This is affecting a very large number of ISP’s around the world. This means that surfing to international sites is running very slowly.”
So if you have Internet issues over the past few weeks (it started as of the 7th of Oct) this could be your problem.
