What is it about us geeks that make us wanna pull things to bits and see what makes them tick? Who knows but I sure wish I had the budget to buy a nice new iPod Nano and “stress test” it until it has the functionally of Bush government hurricane relief effort (i.e. it doesn’t work at all). While it is very interesting to see the abuse one of these things can take, I’m not sure I could bring myself to do it given how sexy Nanos are.
Luckily for me I don’t have to put myself through the pain of breaking a Nano as the good people at are Ars Technica have done it all for me. I know when I’m looking for an MP3 player, being able to drive over it in my car and still get sound from it is a must have feature. I’m surprised Apple don’t list it as a feature on their site 😉
