I love it when I see stuff in sci-fi movies and they slowly but surely become a reality. In the film “Red Planet” the characters had these cool roll up screens which made the devices they used very small while not in use, but produced a very large display when unrolled.
So when I saw the image to the right of a new prototype display/device I thought to myself, it won’t be long before your iPod shuffle gets a roll up screen and video playback. I mean just imagine how cool it would be having a shuffle size device with a VGA display.
