Well by the looks of things geek looks at the user poll you are all more interested in smaller bite size blogs, and I have to say I agree. So rest assured I will make an effort to keep my blogs frequent and brief.
Anyway todays blog is all about the re-branding of fat and sugar. You see to me fat and sugar (well to much of it anyway) should be up there with cigarettes and drugs when it comes to educating the public. So in an effort to get people thinking a little healthier I think food companies should have to re-brand “saturated fats” to “heart disease”, and “refined sugars” to “diabetes”.
Just imagine the effect when you purchases a product if its label said “22% heart disease”, or “48% diabetes”. Just to give you some idea of what I’m talking about see the image attached this post, and the next time you eat something be sure to see how much heart disease and diabetes you’re getting per serve.
