I can safely say was the least productive day of my entire life. Basically I didn’t get out of bed until 12pm and then I did nothing (including dressing myself) but play knights of the old republic on my Xbox until 6:30pm. Once I was done with that I decided (with some gentle persuasion from my girlfriend) that we should get some grocery shopping done. So I got dressed at last, and headed down to the local supermarket called pack n save at about 7pm. Normally shopping in a supermarket is a fairly mundane subject but today was a little different although still quite mundane.
Pack n Save has recently been refurbished and with these refurbishments has come a nice little touch of technology. They now have these cool little devices that you use to scan in your products as you take them off the shelves which give you a running total of your spending. Of course this feature on its on would be fairly lame given you could do it yourself with a calculator, so obviously theres more to it than that. When you get to the end of your shopping you don’t have to stand at the checkout and have people scan all your stuff, you just walk up, hand them you scanner thingy, pay, then walk out, simple, fast, and effective.
So thanks to Xbox and pack n save Ive had the most care free day I could have hoped for, and now I must sleep even though for once I have endless I’m actually feeling very awake at this time of night… I wonder why?…
